Thursday Night Entertainment at The Confluence continues with a return appearance by Davis & Henner. They will be performing from 7-8:30, and as usual, John Ross will be hosting.

Davis & Henner is an acoustic duo from Boardman, OH. They have been performing together as a duo since 2012.

Denny & Russ (their real names) first performed together in the late ’70s as members of the band Thanx.

Davis & Henner play acoustic rock ‘n’ roll, featuring the music of the ’60s through the ’90s along with some select original compositions. Denny & Russ specializes in tight two-part harmony and intricate guitar playing.

Russ (Borts) grew up in Boardman, OH playing in several local bands such as The Shades, High Tech, Air Freight & Thanx.

Denny (Rice) grew up in Union Township in New Castle, PA, and has performed in local bands such as The Periods of Time, Penny Lane, New Release, Rice-a-Roni, Thanx & Power Cut. Denny’s first professional gig was at the Penn Theater in Downtown New Castle followed by an appearance in the YMCA basement stage on West Washington Street for a teen dance in 1967.

Davis & Henner have performed over 500 times in the Mahoning, Trumbull,
Columbiana and Lawrence County areas. Denny & Russ have recently opened for Red Wanting Blue & The Vindy’s in the Youngstown area.
