Thursday Night Entertainment at The Confluence continues September 21 with another appearance of Pete and Beans. This is sure to be one of the new favorite performers on the Confluence stage. As usual, John Ross will be hosting this show, and the feature will be performing from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.
Pete and the Beans are a musical trio derived from the Hudson Family singers, who have been making music in southwestern Pennsylvania since 1997. The group, in its current form, is comprised of Rick Hudson and his twin daughters Camanin Coleman and Karina Blair. Originally from Ellwood City, the Hudsons have appeared in many area theatrical productions and provided music, both classical and contemporary, for many area churches.
At The Confluence, however, Pete and the Beans will be performing, primarily, the Celtic and American folk music which has long been the heart and soul of Hudson Family music tradition. Behind Rick’s acoustic guitar, the group will offer listeners intricate harmonies accented on occasion by the soft tones of Camanin’s flute. This natural, familial blend of voices and music will appeal to listeners of all ages.
This will be a great show … come early, grab some dinner, and get ready for a fun night!
